  These lists go to eleven...
Dave had a good idea.

Favorite Records (meaning, albums that either A. changed how I thought about music in general, or B. have strong childhood memories/autobiographical significance, which namely are the Whiskeytown, Young, Cockburn, Mullins and the Lovett albums.) :

1. Heartbreaker - Ryan Adams
2. After The Goldrush - Neil Young
3. Bringing It All Back Home - Bob Dylan
4. Summerteeth - Wilco
5. Highway 61 Revisited - Bob Dylan
6. You Forgot It In People - Broken Social Scene
7. The Jesus Demos - Rich Mullins
8. I Love Everybody - Lyle Lovett
9. Faithless Street - Whiskeytown
10. Good News For People Who Love Bad News - Modest Mouse
11. Dancing in The Dragon's Jaws - Bruce Cockburn

Comments:
I wouldn't have known the Neil Young, and am surprised about the Modest Mouse. I know you like it, but I didn't think you liked it as much as the other things on that list.

Yeah, I was reminded of After the goldrush and how I needed to not forget it this time. The Modest Mouse cd, despite some people applying sell-out status or not-as-good-as-their-old-stuff-cliche status, I think every song on there is both musically creative and lyrically interesting beyond most bands out there. And somehow it retains its sense of fun.
